“As a child I dreamed of dedicating myself to art. At the age of 6 I took my first steps in a school of fine arts, then I continued to improve myself in a Kalinin Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow. In 2007 I graduated from the Stroganov Institute of Fine Arts in Moscow, specializing in Industrial Design. The next 10 years I was very busy with my work and did not spend much time painting. I returned to my passion 5 years ago, when I was invited to present my work at an exhibition in Venice. For me, it was a new stimulus to return to the art world.
The first part of the exhibition is dedicated to the sketches that I made during my travels in Spain. These works are made in oil pastel and watercolor. I started drawing and painting while traveling only a few years ago, in 2016. Since then I can't stop. I like to catch new places, curious situations and people I like. These drawings allow me to immortalize the highlights of my life. Above all I like to draw people, in their interaction, movement, dance ...
Being a fan of flamenco for a long time, one day I decided to combine my two passions. I started doing some quick ink sketches by attending tablaos, shows, rehearsals and flamenco classes. These works form the other part of the exhibition ”.
